Charlotte Carrivick

One of the UK’s most sought after bluegrass and old time musicians, Charlotte Carrivick is an experienced and award winning musician and teacher. As a multi instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and composer she performs internationally with bands such as The Carrivick Sisters and Cardboard Fox. Charlotte has performed on BBC Radio 4‘s Woman’s Hour BBC One‘s The One Show playing banjo with Tom Jones as well has having airplay on BBC Radio 2 on several occasions.

As well as performing, Charlotte loves teaching at all levels. She is an experienced teacher both privately and as a workshop leader. As well as teaching at home in Bath and overseas via Skype and Facetime, Charlotte has lead workshops at many of the UK’s bluegrass and folk festivals and has taught on several occasions at the internationally renowned Sore Fingers Summer Schools. In 2011 she cofounded Bath
Bluegrass School with John Breese and Laura Carrivick.

Charlotte is also available for session work and recording as well as undertaking transcription work.
